Back in 2022 we agreed to introduce the EFSA 400 Club specifically to generate extra funding for worthy initiatives such as getting junior anglers fishing in our European events. Here is how it works:

For £ 13 or €15 a year you can buy a membership for the 400 club. Half of the money will be kept for supporting youth anglers. At the moment this is via a contribution of €80 towards the entry fee per junior angler. The other 50% is being paid back to the 400 club members in quarterly draws, i.e ¼ of 50 percent of the receipts paid out to the lucky winners divided as 40, 30, 20, 10%.

It is easy to become a member by either paying cash to EFSA at one of the events such as European Championships or even easier by PayPal to bowdenkim610@gmail.com . In the first year of running the club the winners took home over €400 and generated a fund of more than €700 to support junior anglers. Two young upcoming champions benefited from this already.
